Big Island Toastmasters from Hilo, Kona and Waimea participated in the Division C Toastmasters speech contests Sept. 30 in Honolulu.

Sharon Justice of Hilo took first place and Marie Fellenstein Hale of Waimea placed second in the Speech Evaluation Contest. Jeff Mori of Waimea won Humorous Contest.

Division C contest winners advance to the finals Nov. 4 during the District 49 Toastmasters conference in Honolulu.
